EBM-PAPST centrifugal fans are divided into forward and backward centrifugal fans. Different impeller makes the difference in their features and applications.

Forward centrifugal fans can minimize the noise for its smaller size with more impellers, and the overall structure is more compact to conduct the wind. Also, it operates well in small spaces and even under the high wind pressure environment. Generally it is better to be used with volute casing to concentrate the wind force.

The backward centrifugal fan adopts a free wheel design and does not need a volute. Compared with the forward centrifugal fan, it can output a larger air volume, but it can withstand a lower wind pressure.

For centrifugal fans with external rotor motors, the motor is integrated in the impeller, which not only ensures excellent cooling effect of the motor, but also realizes a very compact design.

The entire product series provides AC fans and EC fans with EC technology. In addition to energy saving, EC fans can also realize control, monitoring and maintenance functions with integrated control circuits, especially suitable for purification, industrial air conditioning, fresh air systems, electronic cooling and other related applications.

ebm centrifugal fans are unrivaled high-pressure specialists in centrifugal design with 90° air deflection and carefully optimized impellers.
